Commercial Floor Care
Floor Care Cleaning in Toronto
Commercial floor care in Toronto means stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing for the floor type you actually have - VCT, tile, terrazzo, or polished concrete. ClearView quotes after a walkthrough, brings our own equipment, and schedules around your business hours so your floor is dry and ready when you reopen.
What We Do
The Right Treatment for Every Commercial Floor
Daily mopping keeps your floor clean. Floor care keeps your floor lasting. Periodic strip-and-wax, burnishing, and grout deep-cleans reset the surface so you are not replacing tile or refinishing concrete five years sooner than you should.
- Strip & wax for vinyl composition tile (VCT)
- Burnish & buff for high-gloss finishes
- Auto-scrubbing for tile, terrazzo & concrete
- Grout deep-clean & resealing
- Concrete densification & polishing
- Hardwood refinishing assessment & coordination
- Entrance matting deep-clean & rotation
- Spot scrubbing for high-traffic walkways
- Stain treatment on bonded carpet tile
- Periodic edging & corner detail (often missed in standard mopping)

Why ClearView
What Makes Our Floor Care Different
Right Method per Floor Type
VCT, tile, terrazzo, polished concrete, and bonded carpet all need different approaches. We assess your floor before quoting - not after the job goes wrong.
After-Hours Coordination
Floor stripping needs the space clear for 2-6 hours of dry time. We schedule around your business hours so you reopen on a dry, sealed floor.
Equipment Brought On Site
Auto-scrubbers, burnishers, wet-vacs, and floor pads come with us. You do not move furniture - we do.
WSIB & Insured
Slip-and-fall liability is the biggest risk in floor care. We carry insurance and wet-floor signage on every visit.
FAQ
Floor Care Questions
How often does a commercial floor need stripping and waxing?
Most VCT and vinyl floors benefit from a full strip and 4-5 coat re-wax every 12-18 months, with quarterly burnish-and-buff to maintain shine in between. High-traffic areas like office entries or retail floors may need more frequent attention.
How long does floor stripping and waxing take?
A typical 2,000 sq ft office takes 4-8 hours from move-furniture-back-to-walking-on-it, including 1-2 hour dry time between wax coats. We schedule overnight or weekends so the floor is fully cured before you reopen.
Can you polish concrete or terrazzo floors?
Yes. Polished concrete and terrazzo require different equipment than VCT - we use diamond-impregnated pads and floor densifiers rather than wax. We assess each floor before quoting because polish levels (from satin to mirror) significantly affect time and cost.
Do you move furniture or do we?
We move standard office furniture (chairs, light tables) as part of the job. For heavier items - filing cabinets, equipment, large desks - we coordinate with you before the visit. Some clients prefer to move sensitive items themselves; either works.
Will my floor look slippery or hazy after?
No. Properly applied wax cures to a non-slip finish that meets commercial standards. Haziness usually means the wax was not cured before walking on it - we manage cure time carefully so you do not see streaks or footprints.
